Cookie Policy
Deadline Engine uses strictly necessary storage to operate the Service. We ask before loading optional Plausible Analytics. We do not use advertising or marketing tracking. Continued browsing is not treated as consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).

Deadline Engine does not currently use a separate CSRF cookie. If one is added later, it will be strictly necessary and documented in this table before launch.

- Analytics: aggregate usage measurement through Plausible, loaded only after explicit consent.
Your preference is stored in your browser localStorage under a versioned Deadline Engine key. We also set a small HttpOnly yes or no marker so server-side purchase outcomes can honour the same choice. It does not contain a calculation, matter, email address or other identifier. We also store a server-side consent record containing the preference state, timestamp, and hashed IP address and user agent. The banner reappears if your consent record is older than 12 months. If we introduce a new optional technology or purpose, we will update this policy and request a new, specific choice before it loads.
Third-party cookies
When you complete a paid checkout, Paddle sets its own cookies for secure checkout. We do not use those cookies for Deadline Engine analytics. Refer to Paddle’s cookie policy for details.
Managing cookies
You can change optional preferences at any time using the Cookie preferences link in the footer. You can also block or delete cookies via your browser settings. Blocking the authentication cookie will prevent you from logging in. If you have a privacy question, use the contact and data-protection route.
