England & Wales · Deemed service, clear days and bank holidays applied · Methodology
In preparationRules being encoded and verified
The Intellectual Property calculator is being built. Every deadline is encoded from its primary source, with deemed service and clear days applied, and verified before release, the same way the England & Wales calculator works today.
Framework: Patents Act 1977; Trade Marks Act 1994; the PCT and EPC
Deadlines this calculator will cover
- PCT national phase entry (thirty-one months from priority)
- Trade mark opposition (two months, extendable to three)
- EPO opposition (nine months from grant)
- Renewal, annuity and non-use vulnerability dates
Indicative scope. Each date is verified against the primary source before release.
