The JCPC has no equivalent of CPR 2.8(4) or UKSC Rules r 4(2) excluding non-business days from short periods, so a Friday notification produces a Sunday deadline which then rolls forward to the next open day under r 6(4)(a). PD 7.12: in appeals lying to His Majesty in Council the final Order must additionally be approved at a meeting of the Privy Council, which may take place weeks or months later.
