- Extendable to 40 working days only by reg 7, which expressly lists reg 14(2) in reg 7(2)(c). Unlike FOIA s.17, the EIR refusal deadline moves with a valid reg 7 extension - under FOIA the s.10(3) extension does not move the s.17(1) notice date. This is a real divergence between the two regimes.
