- NONE by judicial order. Section 16(a) removes reliance on the longstop limb in s 14(1)(b) on wilful concealment; s 18(1) suspends the s 14(1)(a) period during incapacity. Never compute an extension.
- COMPOUND LONGSTOP. The outer limit in s 14(1)(b) is the LATER of fifteen years from the underlying act or omission and five years from the payment, settlement or judgment, and the claim dies on the EARLIER of that outer limit and the two-year knowledge period. Section 14(2) sets a different regime for a contribution claim under s 2(c) of the Tortfeasors Act: the earlier of two years from knowledge (running from settlement of the original claim or service of the pleading bringing it) and fifteen years from the person's act or omission.
