- BACKWARD, clear days on both edges. Both limbs use 'before' with the trial date as reference day. Corrected on verification: the note asserted "clear days on both edges". That is wrong for the opening edge. Only the closing edge is phrased "at least 14 days before", so only that edge attracts the one-day backward uplift in Interpretation Act s 25.2(3)(b). The opening edge is phrased "not more than 28 days before", which is neither "clear" nor "at least" nor "not less than", so s 25.2(3) does not apply to it and it is computed under s 25.2(2)(b) alone. The 14 and 28 day figures and the window structure are confirmed against SCCR r 12-3(3)(a).
