- SHORT-PERIOD POINT: these are SAT periods governed by Interpretation Act 1984 (WA) s 61, not by RSC O 3, so the RSC "less than 7 days" business-day exclusion does NOT apply. Under s 61(1)(e) the end date rolls forward off an excluded day. Only 2 applications may be made under s 84 in respect of the same matter without leave (SAT Act s 84(4); SAT Rules r 21). The Tribunal must be satisfied the applicant had a reasonable excuse for not attending (s 84(5)).
