- County Court r 3.05(2) deems service after 4.00 p.m. or on a day the office is closed to be service on the next open day. County Court r 3.04(1) excludes 24 December to 9 January. Corrected on verification: County Court Civil Procedure Rules 2018 r 3.01(5) and Magistrates' Court General Civil Procedure Rules 2020 r 3.01(5) remain confined to an act done at an office of the Court, so unlike the Supreme Court there is no rollover for a purely inter partes act in those courts.
