- The notice of offer may provide otherwise, displacing the 28-day default; the Court may grant leave to withdraw acceptance under r 25.09(1)(b).
- If the sum is not paid within 28 days after acceptance, or within the time provided by the offer, the offeree may apply for leave to withdraw the acceptance and for orders restoring the parties' positions (r 25.09). The offeree may alternatively apply under r 25.10 for orders giving effect to the accepted offer, or striking out the defence.
