"Date of knowledge" is defined exhaustively in s. 27(6) to (8): knowledge that the injury was significant, that it was attributable to the alleged act or omission, of the identity of the defendant, and where relevant of a third party's identity. Knowledge of the law is irrelevant. Subject to the s. 30 discretion.
