  • Engine-critical exception: rule 15 (extension or abridgement by the court below) is expressly disapplied, so this 28-day period cannot be extended by the court below. Within the same period the appellant must also produce a sealed copy of the decree and leave copies of the notice of appeal, failing which the appeal is not competent (r. 16(3)). Amended by 10 of 2008 s. 30.
