- No express extension power in Part 47 Section VI; any extension is under the general power in CPR r.3.1(2)(a). The court's duty to fix a hearing is conditional on the 14-day notification, so missing it removes the entitlement to a hearing. Do not assume relief.

This is the legal aid analogue of the r.47.15(7) oral hearing request, but with a 14-day rather than 21-day period.
