Calculation basis and source

Period
30 days
Trigger
Expiry of the applicable period in r 48.14(1) (fifth anniversary of commencement, or second anniversary of being struck off)
Counting
The encoded calculator method must be independently documented before publication.
Rollovers and holidays
Holiday, closure and order treatment must be independently documented before publication.

This route remains in preparation until a pinpoint official source is recorded.

  • The timetable must be signed by all parties; there is no unilateral route. If consent is unavailable the party must move under r 3.02(1) or invoke 'unless the court orders otherwise' in r 48.14(1).
  • BACKWARD from a date that is itself computed (an anniversary). Thirty days exceeds the seven-day threshold, so holidays are counted. Missing this backward date is what converts a manageable delay problem into an automatic dismissal.
