Calculation basis and source
- Period
- 30 days
- Trigger
- Day of receipt of notice from the court stenographer that the evidence has been transcribed or, if no evidence is to be transcribed, the day the Notice of Appeal is issued
- Counting
- The encoded calculator method must be independently documented before publication.
- Rollovers and holidays
- Holiday, closure and order treatment must be independently documented before publication.
This route remains in preparation until a pinpoint official source is recorded.
- Rule 3.02(1) and (2), subject to Rule 3.02(3) (only a judge of the Court of Appeal).
- TWO ALTERNATIVE TRIGGERS. Select the transcription-notice date where evidence is transcribed, and the Notice of Appeal issue date where it is not. Rule 62.15(2): when the subrule is complied with the appeal is perfected and the Registrar notifies all parties of the perfection date and the month in which the appeal is eligible to be heard, which is the input to Rule 62.20.
