- Age is reached under Interpretation Act s 25.1 "at the beginning of the relevant anniversary of the person's birth date", so the 19th birthday itself is the start day. Section 3(1)(i) to (k) removes any limitation period at all for claims relating to sexual misconduct while a minor, sexual assault generally, and assault or battery in the circumstances described - those claims are outside the Act entirely and no period should be computed for them.
