Statements of argument are capped at 10 pages each in the appeal record under r 23-6(8.8)(b)(ix) and (x). Enacted by BC Reg 104/2019, s 4. Corrected on verification: the encoded statutory wording was truncated mid-sentence ("within 14 days of the ..."), which left the trigger unstated on the face of the entry. The full text of SCCR r 23-6(8.4) (enacted by BC Reg 104/2019, s 4) fixes the trigger as service of the notice of appeal and the appellant's statement of argument. The 14 day period is confirmed.
