  • O 3 r 5(1)-(2): the Court may on such terms as it thinks just extend or abridge the period, and may extend even after it has expired. O 3 r 5(3): the period for serving, filing or amending a pleading or other document may be extended by written consent without an order.
  • Entry of appearance is by filing 2 copies of Form No. 6 (O 12 r 2(1)). Failure to appear in time exposes the defendant to default judgment under O 13. A conditional appearance denying jurisdiction may be entered under O 12 r 6.
