Unlike rr 217.6(2) to (4) in the same Part, which say 'at least 14 days / at least 7 days / at least 3 days before the listed hearing date', r 217.4(2) says the appellant 'must file a physical copy of the appeal book 7 days before the listed hearing date', with no 'at least'. On UCR r 2.2(3) that is the date reached by counting back 7 days from, but excluding, the hearing date.
