- Limitation of Actions Act 1974 (Qld) s 32A: the court may extend the limitation period to a period of up to 3 years running from the date of the alleged publication if satisfied it is just and reasonable to allow the action to proceed, having regard to the s 32A(3) matters. The order may be made even after the limitation period has ended (s 32A(4)).
- For electronic publication, the date of publication is the day the matter was first uploaded for access or sent electronically to a recipient (s 10AA(4)). The single publication rule in s 10AB fixes accrual by reference to the first publication.
