Note the counting form. Because the period is expressed as starting on the day the application is made, item 2 of the s 36(1) table applies and the first day IS included, unlike almost every other period in this catalogue. A 6-week period starting on a Monday therefore ends on the Sunday six weeks later, which then rolls to the next open day under s 36(2).
