- ACT Civil and Administrative Tribunal Procedures Rules 2024 (ACT) (NI2024-485) r 38 (2): the tribunal may, by order, extend the time for making an application, and the request may be made after the time has ended (Legislation Act 2001 (ACT) s 151C). But r 38 (4) caps the extension for an application for administrative review at 56 days, starting on the day after the day the time for making the application ends and ending at 4.30 pm on the day the extension ends. Rule 38 (5) is subject to express provisions elsewhere; the Planning Act 2023 (ACT) prohibits extension for some applications.
